At this writing, the Beneficial Ownership reporting requirements are foreign based. Domestic owners have been exempted.
It is my hope this remains intact. Requiring small business to report themselves in a criminal database with update penalties made little sense.
It is time to review and fully fund estate and gift plans before limits revert to 2018 federal tax laws in January, 2026. For some the halved limits returning are significant.
